The SOE corporate partnership scheme aims to give a wide range of benefits to

Becoming a corporate partner will help you sustain the high standards

• Premium partners do not pay membership application fees.
• Reduced application fees for professional registration (up to 25% off) depending
on the partnership scheme you choose (see chart at the end of the brochure).
The SOE membership is a gateway to professional registration. Suitably experienced
employees can register as Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer
(IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). We are also a member of Society for the Environment
(SocEnv) and can award the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) qualification to suitablyqualified SOE members.
Professional Registration will help benchmark your staff qualifications, improve the skills
they already have and help them gain international recognition. It indicates to existing
and potential clients your drive and commitment to professional standards.
Moreover, your staff get access to an annual workshop about registration with the
Engineering Council and/or Society for the Environment that will recap the process.
Although the standards are high, SOE makes the registration process simple

SOE APPROVAL OF YOUR CPD
We also provide approval of your CPD and training schemes. We approve and
certify your CPD for both internal and external purposes. The SOE badge shows
that your CPD scheme meets the high standards demanded by a Professional
Engineering Institution.
Workshops and other technical events are essential because they allow professional
networking and growth, and are one of the best ways to keep your skills and
knowledge current.
Your CPD will be assessed by a suitable member of SOE’s Academic Panel – all
of whom are qualified experts in their field. Upon approval, your scheme will be
approved for between 3-5 years, depending on the format and content.
NETWORK OPPORTUNITIES
Your organisation also gets access to networking opportunities through the 250+
CPD events organised annually by the Society, which are open to all employees of
our corporate partners. You will also benefit from trade show, press and networking
opportunities, adding further value to your membership.
We also ensure that your company logo and profile will be featured on the SOE
website and directory listing, allowing you more visibility through our community
of nearly 17000 proactive individuals.
OTHER BENEFITS
As a corporate partner, you will get up to 10% off IRTE and MHE (Material Handling
Equipment) workshop accreditations. These promote best practice in the workplace
and enable prospects and clients to buy and use your services with confidence.
Plus, a subscription to SOE’s technical journals is included in all schemes and will
